Virginia Avery, Wondrous Women and New York

We've just awakened and only because an alarm went off and it's 9:00 a.m. No getting up early to post about my days at Jinny Avery's. Have to do that later. Suffice it to say that Jinny is the most wondrous of women that I know. I loved my visit, during which she invited her Wondrous Women group to lunch. There were some fifteen of us catching up on her screen porch. Jinny sent me off on the train to the city mid day yesterday with a small bag of grapes and peaches and leftover pineapple from the luncheon. Good potassium fare.
Kate and I are off to the MOMA this morning to see the new Matisse exhibition and then the BlogHer conference begins. No dashing down to Century 21 near the World Trade Center to find another handbag. Don't think there will be time.
These are quite random, silly posts. My mind is straying. k too many things ahead of us today. New York is just beyond the door. Onward.

Sometimes my husband and I go to breakfast in a seaside town on Friday mornings, where there is a table of a dozen women talking about the most interesting topics each time. I have almost introduced myself and asked if I could join them. I desperately miss those conversations.
